I don't think it's the kind of series that would sell millions and millions of systems all by itself like Halo or Zelda back in the day, though. I agree with your implicated point, that strangely enough, Sony doesn't have a series like that as strong as their first party is. The closest they have is dev teams rather than any particular IP, such as "A NEW TEAM ICO GAME" or "A NEW NAUGHTY DOG GAME".
