Why do religious people celebrate the Winter solstice (xmas)? Or why are they off on Sundays?
The meaning of things change. I know muslim people who celebrate Christmas coz it's sort of a national holiday now. I celebrate it too (well, I gather with my family) and I certainly ain't a Christian. No shame in that. Yeah, we also say "Oh, my God" in English, etc.
