This is not surprising and well deserved.

How so? Appla alone is certainly way more deserving, outside of windows monopoly they have been living off for decades,  MS has more missues then hits. Behind every trend the last decade plus.

What has apple done to inspire you in america?

umm, do you really need to ask that question? The iphone and ipad are the single biggest tech products of the last decade..... It transformed mobile.

So, a survey that is done yearly, and you choose a company's accomplishments from 3+ years ago?

??> What has MS accomplished thge last 10?

So the reason that Apple inspires you is that M$ hasn't had enough big hits for you in the last decade?

M$ does a lot more than simplify the interface of a smartphone or tablet or portable music player.

Apple hordes 100 Billion + in foreign countries waiting for a federal tax break to avoid paying taxes.  They charge 3 X the cost of their products while employing people in sweat shops.  They build spaceship style headquarters that cost well over a billion dollars.  Yes, those are very inspiring acts.

And how is that any different that MS? He'll they probably employ the same factory to produce the xbox.

And before you go harping on Apple even more, they actually help the workers by enforcing better work environments, benefits and wage guidelines. And thanks to companies like apple the entire Chinese’s work force have started to improve because other factories are competing for workers now.

The are competing for the 200+ million people who have no job at all in China?  I totally agree that Apple and M$ probably share the same factories and I won't bother with another list of things that they do that are socially reprehensible.  Apple only made these changes in their factories when they got caught.

The workers in that field, but it starts a domino effect that ripples out. No, they had those guidelines in place, if they sent people over to enforce them or not is another thing.

You could list things, but we can always dig up something some company has done wrong.
