When in character creation and you are selecting your characters father press triangle or y(depends on console) which selects a special character.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. I have Social Club stuff sorted and Red Dead data, so I assume he should unlock

Update me if you get other special character options I played RDR and GTA IV both on my 360 and I'm playing GTA V on my PS3 so hopefully it gives options if you have other Rockstar games.
