Like I said, aiming 4k on those consoles is laughable.

Why? 4K Tv's are hitting the market now, and if you remember a DVD looks better upscaled on a 1080P TV than on a old SD one, eventhough that's what the picture is for.

Plus the Xbox One has an independant upscaler, so it will not deminished the perforamce of a game to go from 1080P to 4K.  I know it's not true 4K, but could still look really nice in my living room.

A 1080p image upscaled to 4k would look awful.
