The tire analogy is stupid, a more accurate one would be buying a car without rear seats, you can use it just fine for most things but if you decide you want to make the most out of it you'll buy the extra seats so more people can ride in it.
Also moaning about PS+ requirement for multiplayer being anti consumer as if online play on xbl is free is just moronic too.
