American propaganda I definitely admit is horrible... I don't even watch the news anymore because I don't trust any of it... I am one of those people who has completely lost faith in his own governments ability to tell the truth.
It's also a lot more than just the government, regular companies manipulate everything. I remember a quote from Satoru Iwata recently. He said something along the lines of "I am making business decisions which will ensure Nintendo's long term success. Some people would rather I jump onto the Iphone and other platforms, but this would only profit us in the short term. " That is exactly what is going on in the world today, all these companies don't care about the long term anymore and they are destroying their own companies in the process. Then when the next president comes along, we have a THQ fiasco.
