Come now, you should be more honest. A large part of the flak Nintendo takes has more to do with some of its fans than with the company, so I've added that in for you. I mean, really, imagine if Nintendo didn't have to deal with the Tin-foil Hat crew, the Platform Elitists, and the Hyper-Defensive front? I imagine it would be a lot more appealing for some.
Of course, the same thing could be said about any of the console manufacturers, like it or not. The first real taste of fanboys I had was with the original Xbox "h4l0 h4z l33t gr4phx" crowd, followed by the "PS3 is worth $600" team.
