But I bet this will be used as an excuse for the hypothetical poor sales the WiiU version gets, so in a sense they will mind. 

Yep, Wii U owners get an excuse not to buy, the publisher gets an excuse to further scale back support. Everybody wins!

And then moves on to mobile gaming!

that aint happening for Ubisoft, no time soon. Lets not act like they NEED to support WIi u
