Not sure why ZombiU doesn't count, unless you've tried it and decided against it (I did that, downloaded the Demo and didn't really enjoy it, but then again I don't really like survival horror games)
Nintendo Land, Rayman Legends and Pikmin 3 is an awesome start (I don't have Rayman Legends but I played the challange app and it was fun). Played through NSMBU and liked it (better than NSMBWii and NSMB2 at least) haven't played NSLU.
Personally I would recommend Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Wonderful 101, they have the most played time on my Wii U (yes I've only had W101 for like 2 weeks and its already ahead of everything else except MH3U)
Out of curiosity why did you get the 8 GB unit? Around here it is the same price as the 32 GB unit now (since that dropped to $299.99) and you can get either the Nintendoland Bundle or Zelda WW bundle.
