It looks fantastic, and those features are nice but I wonder if they are that special as you may think they are.

Of course, it depends what you mean by online experience, and which games one prefers, people need to play first then they can judge. Personally, I think TitanFall and Battlefield will be the best online experience (until Halo 5 I hope :D).

And about free DLCs, if that is correct why would they introduce a season pass?

The SP has nothing to do with competitive multuplayer maps (which are free). Co-op, classes, Warzone options, etc. are included.
