Apart from the bad attempt at humor (i.e. 4 wii us), he isn't wrong.
The fans of a company need to get behind it. Look at PS4, in all honesty there isn't really much interesting at launch for the general public to buy the console at that price, but yet all the fans are committed.
Nintendo fans need to do the same.
