Although I do not believe their is a bias (in the way people think) against the Wii from most websites/magazines, I do believe there is a built in bias against a lot of the games on the Wii because of the types of people who become videogame reviewers.
Videogame reviewers (for the most part) are dedicated gamers with very limited training in journalism or in how to perform an unbiased critical evaluation of a product within a medium. As a result their reviews are more often based on their emotional reaction to a videogame than on a critical evaluation of the videogame. Now, if you have similar tastes to a reviewer and you're looking for a recommendation about a game from this reviewer this isn't a problem; unfortunately, many Wii games are trying to appeal to people who have drastically different tastes from these reviewers.
