PSP games of 08!! Best year for PSP EVER

There's a reason that more of my handheld time is clocked in on DS, and why a good chunk of my PSP time is dedicated to replaying classic PSX RPG's.

That could also be because a lot of the better DS games, like PoR, Advance Wars, and Phoenix Wright, are probably a lot longer than the average PSP game. I have put probably 200 hours in Advance Wars, and maybe 40 in the PW series. Nearly 20 in Zelda I'm sure, and I've probably played through NSMB, Elite Beat Agents, or Bleach: Blade of Fate more than all the others combined. There are some awesome timesinks on the DS, lol, I usually end up getting lost in one game for a month or so before I come up for air.

Than go and try MHF , and see that you can easily get 400 hours to top everithing . Im not joking , a guy on GS actually uploaded his savegame and it was 415 hours . Every armor was complete , every quest was beaten perfcetly .

 

Also , the PSP cant me compared to other sistems in game exclusives , because its a portable console , and they ususally get fever exclusives . A home console has at least 10 major exclusives/year , but a portable ususally has to survive with 3 or 4 .

 

Kingofwale has a point , most 80 + games are quality titles , and the PSP like it or not has more than the DS . Its not your taste , its the avarege gaming taste , and if a game achieves 80 % , than it is usually considered great .

 

Also , I dont know what huge DS game is actually comming this year . Except DQ9 as RoB mentioned , no other big game is comming , and again , just like MHF games , they only count in Japan . Probably later on we will see some bigger announcements for it , I dont doubt it , but untill then the only game I would be interested is Ninja Gaiden DS , but again , the controls blew me off :(

 

In the end if we want to talk aboust gaming tastes , I dont like DS games . I owned 2 , but both time I sold mine ( my DS lite was sold afther a month , because I havent played it for nearly 4 weeks , even if I had 7 games on it ) . Dont think that anyone has to have your gaming preferences . Yes there are not that many PSP games sold , but probably every game was downloaded illegaly at least 5 times more ... Im one of those whom actually likes PSP games , and yes I would rather play a mediocre port than the console version . Why ? Because its my own god damned taste , thats why !

 

And now for all PSP haters : if you cant stand that the PSP has a good year , than dont and get the hell out of here . You dont see me going on DS threads and writing that the sistem is a piece of crap . So please , let us be and dont provoce us , because then we wont provoce you .
