this is LCD but you get the idea.  the thing about OLED tech is it the materials used to create the light are the same materials already used as ink in magazines today.  that means, in theory, an OLED display could be only marginily more expensive to produce than printing a magaizine is today.  ..in theory.  regardless, silicon is expensive to purify and limited in supply and competes heavily with higher value computer products.  OLED displays should be order of magintudes easier to manufature once they get more experience with them.
