I guess you are doing the same thinking i am sympathetic with capcom. Each case is a case. On the MH case we were told the reason why we didnt get MH3P in the west. The other games and the crap Capcom has been doing is a different matter.

I can assure you every single programmer at SEAJ would have stopped whatever they were doing and updated Ad-hoc party. Even if SCEA was being stubborn, SCEAJ can override anything they do. And what are you missing about my point about Monster Hunter 3G? When Capcom was asked about no Wii U version of Monster Hunter 4 they said Monster Hunter games need to be exclusive which is why there's only a 3DS version. They actually said that at a 3G event. Monster Hunter 3G: Multiplatform, Monster Hunter needs to be exclusive, see the contradiction? It's like doing a proof of 2=1 and ignoring the divide by zero. Resident Evil Revelations sold well on the 3DS, almost a million. There was a handheld market for it; Capcom wanted more. Hell, considering how bad those ports have sold, think the Vita version wouldn't atleast sell as well as the PS3 version? PS3 to Vita and vice versa ports are very easy and require very few people and time. The money coming in greatly offset the cost of the port. Plain and simple, it's lost money for them not to have made a Vita version. Which goes back to the handheld contract Capcom must have signed which most likely expired at Monster Hunter 4s release. |
No, i dont think capcom USA would go to Capcom japan and in turn capcom japan would go to SCEJ so they would change SCEA decisions. That is unthinkable. Nowadays, with Sony offcials on twitter it would be completely doable though. But, this happened in a different time.
