No, they werent. Till this day they didnt and capcom had to cancel a localisation already in progress. It cost them money. Stop thinking Sony is innocent in this. They arent. Its their own fault for having acted like they dont care about MH in the west.

Also, this decision to port the game to 3DS and Wii U came after they were rejected by Sony. Sven wich was the vice-president of capcom US told us that. Its fact, while what you are saying is speculation. Its totally on Sony. They have certainly learned to not be arrogant anymore, but that was a lesson they learned the hard way.

On the bright side, Microsoft is starting to learn what arrogance leads you to aswell. So all in all, its good to teach some lessons to these companies so they start acting high and mighty and do their job, wich is to give their customers what they need.


Ironically, they are being Arrogant themselves, how are you to blame sony and ad-hoc party not going Cross Platform, they could have easily made Monster Hunter work through online means like it should have seeing how popular it is. Also 3DS and WiiU's solver could have easily been used for PSP/PS3, it's a contradiction to complain saying Sony was arrogant, Capcom is arrogant as hell if they are expecting Sony to change the entire function for a app for them to save afew pennies.
