Why not? It's not like we lack ARPG's.

True but it's just that I find action based combat more enticing than turn based plus the reason turnbased was initally used was to cover up hardware limitations and now that hardware today isn't an issue I don't see why developers should impliment turn based combat unless their small.

It's a strategy RPG. I see no issue with using turn based combat. A lot of people like turn based.

I'm not too sure about that statement anymore if I were you. 


Well dragon quest game is turn based and alway sell well no ? civilization sold well, last Xcom too, endless space and many other too, if i look in kickstarter there as much turn based game who get funded vs action game.   now they sell less, but this not mean there is not enough ppl who like them. if we follow this logic, they could stop all game and every devs make FPS :p
