I've been saying this for months. The thing that screwed up the Xbox One were the leaks. The leaks were all about what people would be losing and nothing about the benefits. Without the leaks, they would've controlled the message and the community would've responded differently for the most part. While I enjoy a good leak as much as anyone, ultimately they are destructive as they often present only a portion (usually negative) of a product or service. And, as a teacher once told our class many times (annoyingly I'll add): a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.
