Cost vs Utility.

Bayonetta 2 is being released on a console which typically isn't associated with games of its like, and which probably won't see too many more of them. So someone who might be interested in other games in the same vein would have to buy another system anyway, in all likelihood.

With Final Fantasy XV, the game is being released on a console where like games are relatively common. So someone who might be interested in other games in the same vein probably won't have to buy another system.

Basically, Bayonetta fans don't want a Wii U, but Final Fantasy fans will likely want a PS4. In general.

Final Fantasy is really a very bad example especially considering that it was a million seller from the very first entry on NES and even a low budget game FinalFantasy3 on NDS was the best selling handheld FF game in Japan against high budgets effort like Crisis Core and Type0 on PSP. But you still don´t see such an outcry when a Final Fantasy game isn´t announced for their system of choice.

In my opinion it really has a lot more to do with the mentality of certain people, some are just more agressive and love "hating" and "bitching" on the "enemy". So it is no surpise to me that a lot of these people also love vulgar killing games and part of the age/generation that was listening to "gangster rappers" some years ago. This would also explain their hate towards Nintendo, they are just insecure people.
