This GTA is much more forgiving, when failing a mission, fail enough times you can even choose to skip it.
The only headaches Ive had is doing a mission in a big slow ass truck and trying to get away from cops, usually I try to get on the expressway and find a point to jump off once far enough ahead and hide under the overpass.
