It means switching to OpenGL instead of DirectX - I don't see that as too much of the problem, considering Xbox is only one actually running DX. Bigger problem, imo, is the reasoning behind thinking that just because you have another OS it's not PC anymore.

Unless they offer hardware that performs same (or better) at the same price (or lower) as next-gen cosnoles, I don't see too many people jumping the ship.
