Ah, I also thought you meant tracking. As far as the PS4 and especially the X1 are concerned, Japan will not be a major market.
Though I don't think the relevancy of markets should be defined by how well the PS4 and X1 sell there. If they don't sell well in Japan, I'd rather say, "Sony and Microsoft better step up their game in Japan," than "It doesn't matter that the PS4 and X1 aren't selling in Japan because they're not selling in Japan so it doesn't matter."
