Actually, when it comes to audio DSP, it seems that XOne has actual advantage there. From what I understood, unlike PS4's DPS, which is capable of off-loading in-game chat and decoding mp3 audio streams for in-game use, XOne's in addition runs all EQ/Dynamics/Reverbaration and mixing on dedicated silicon - PS4 needs to run those things on CPU ("native" solution).

Not sure of everything that Sony audio DSP will offload, what I said is if we count everything the MS will do (it will probably do more), but if we just consider the use in games it can be similar (have sony stated everything that the Sony will do?)... and as I said, Sony have background in audio processing, I don't think they will do a blunder.
