Idk how anyone can call this a button masher when hes teleporting all over the place, switching weapons, using magic and I saw some special sword abilities in there too.  Also it looks like there's special moves you can do with members of your party and I'm sure I'm missing some stuff too.  This is no way resembles a button masher and it feels like people are just saying that in a desperate way to find any reason to hate on the game.

Indeed. the game brings big changes and new daring ideas to the franchise, it will be hated for it no matter what. I can already see some reviews go like " XV is a great game but dosn't feel like a FF ".

Gotta love the gaming industry :p
