There's where we can agree to disagree, I don't view it as a negative. I don't mind that you can spam the same attacks over and over in Arkham, God of War, Conan, Dead Rising, Dante's Inferno, Dynasty Warriors, Darksiders, etc etc. It's par for the course. And in almost all of them (Ryse included) you can go deeper in the combat if you want, it's just not required. So I pay no attention when previews/reviews complain about combat depth in a game like this.



I agree with you to an extent. I like those games you mentioned, but Ryse reminds me of Dragons Dogma sword play, press a button for light attack and press another for strong attack I didn't like that gameplay at all it was overly simplistic and repetitive. Ryse doesn't reminds me of GoW, DR, Dante's Inferno maybe the Original Darksiders which gameplay was at times serviceable. I do hope this game turns out to be good though, more quality games the better imo.
