I think most articles by "professionals" or analyst call 2007 a bad year for SONY so not surprising he does as well. Hell SONY themselves has admitted it wasn't a banner year though things have turned around. If you been following SONY's PR for 2007 it wasn't that great. Just seems silly to ignore the article because of his negative opinion on SONY PR. The content of the article is alot more general and applies to gaming in general of course you can agree or disagree which is what I expect from this thread.
