I saw this thread pop up again so I figured to post this, which was published today.
Here is a camera comparison with iPhone 5s, Lumia 1020 and rest of the big hitters.

Sadly they didn't compare it to Sony's Z1, but with the 6 phones tested, conclusion is as follows:
"Nokia's Lumia 1020, which runs on the Windows Phone platform, outdistances the other phones by miles, as long as you're shooting ordinary shots and don't need to get in too close. You really must see the quality to believe it."
In terms of phone camera capabilities:
Lumia 1020 >>>>iphone 5s>Galaxy S4= LG G2 > HTC One >>>> Moto X
