All platforms have exclusive games, whether the platform is attractive should come down to personal taste in games, Personally I have no interrest in Japanese RPG's or most of the console exclusives besides Halo essentially, they're usually dumbed down and full of quick time events with poor image quality anyway, but that's my personal opinion.

Would I get a Steam Box? No way. I love my Display set-up too much to go back to 1080P.

Now you're arguing for the sake of arguing, I did elaborate on that.

@Bold 1 I'm pretty sure mario(atleast 2D) is more relevant than all these franchises combined.

@Bold 2 I know that you did elaborate on that but it's far from easy to emulate the xbox. 

I still don't know about your thoughts on hUMA.

Edit: I have another question, umm how will older DX11 gpu's be able to emulate the PS4 and xbone if their programability and efficieny has increased drastically compared to VLIW ?

Edit 2: Will newer gpu architectures abandon things that were in the GCN architecture such as when nvidia made a switch from fermi to kepler and decided that it was best to drop a hardware schedular ?

Edit 3: How often will developers abuse specific features of the GPU to the point that it will be harder for other gpu's like nvidia gtx series to emulate them ?
