Crash Team Racing or Mario Kart 64?

I don't really see how you can make an argument about more people being Wii fans than Ps3 fans. That doesn't have anything to do with this. For PS vs N64 I'm sure it is the opposite way around.

And as I said before, we don't really remember the games the way they were.

Let's look at me: I played CTR for 5 hours in 2001. I last played MK64 15 days ago. That would give me a VERY flawed relationship to those games, and I'm sure this is the case for at least 1/4 of the people who posted here.

Another thing to put in mind, was that most people who played MK64, had played SMK (I haven't though, so I don't know how big the upgrade was) and it wasn't a great improvement. That means people expected more from MK64, than what they actually got.

Now look at CTR, an totally unporven game, that was much better than they expected. Was it better than MK? Hard to tell. This clearly brings our feelings in advantage for CTR.

Now look at the fact that ALL later Crash racers are crap, or at least close to, while MK had MK:DD which was also a great game. This makes us remember MK64 sorta like MK:DD,which also gives us flawed feelings. This clearly brings an advantage for MK64.

I could list about 5 more examples like these, but I won't bother.

As you see, not all of these influence on us, so that if only MK64 advantages influence me, I'll say MK64.
