All I can say is that I'm not a GTA fan and so I've stayed away from Saint's Row because of that. I've never finished a GTA, mostly because of the unlikeable characters and because I'd soon end up bored and mentally disengaged. I finally played Saint's Row 3, however, and I had a blast. It's just ridiculous and entertaining. I'll get SR4 when it's a bit cheaper.
What I'm really looking forward to is a next gen Saint's Row with improvements across the board. I hope it happens.
