i dont know, im not retired i still active duty. but id guess, many of them get degrees, or pass it on to their wife or children (the GI bill that is). maybe become a cop.
Im a crewchief (or will be soon) on a V-22 osprey, so i supose when i get out, I will work on aircraft or something.
as long as youre not infantry, you have job skill that are usefull in the civilian world.
