We'll see how this actually works in practice. I will say that it's a pretty clever solution to allow PS4 owners to play their PS3 games without having to repurchase them outright a second time, which is more or less the current situation with old PS2 games being sold in the PSN Store, albeit at greatly reduced prices.

Most of the PS2 games that actually made it worth having a PS2 BC CECH-A01 console have either been remastered in HD or released in the PSN Store for about $10, which is totally reasonable.

I don't see PS3 games being sold for play on the PS4 for the same $10, but... I wouldn't mind paying $10 to play the PS3 games I currently own on the PS4, assuming the Gaikai streaming actually works as well as playing the game in one of my PS3s.

I think it's going to be some time before we actually see this being implemented though. If anyone was hoping to be streaming their PS3 games by early 2014, they might be disappointed. I'll be surprised if it happens before the end of 2014.
