M$ did say they were working on something similar, but didn't have any real info when asked about it. I can't find the interview, but it was a couple of months ago. It's not like this is something that M$ or Sony are the only ones that can offer it. It's more a matter of the cost for it and how to implement the cost structure to the users. Yeah. I read somewhere they might offer backwards compatability through the cloud service, which hopefully will be as good or better than Gaikai. I tried Gaikai once for Battlefield and it was actually pretty good. I tried Street Fighter IV on Onlive and it was so laggy I couldn't even fire an hadouken, but that could have had to do with the internet I was using at the time lol.
I just didn't understand where was the irony of PS4 having DRM for Gaikai when it's a service that is just there so the PS4 could have at least a bit of backwards compatability. It's not like we're talking about the physical games themselves.
