I have no doubt that the US military could overthrow the Ahmenijad government.. but just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should. The Taliban was overthrown yet the US, Britain and other countries are still at war in Afghanistan. Saddam Hussein's regime was also overthrown, yet the insurgency remains while the war threatens to outlast even WWII. Why would war against Iran be any different? There is a lot more to war than having superior equipment and I don't think you're really seeing the big picture here.
Ahmenijad's statements about the Holocaust and Jewish people are reprehensible.. but it has just been talk. He's a loudmouth dictator wanting attention on the world stage. If Israel is attacked, it should defend itself.. however it is not the responsibility of the US military to fight and die for Israel.
