Well, I'm confident that Indie games are going to drive a lot of software sales, but sadly hardware sales will continue to be low.

No. What I said is pretty much the same thing people said around the PSP vs NDS. And we all know which one sold more hardware.

Also, consider this: In the PS3 era Sony put all their efford in making games for it, and they let the PSP abandoned. This generation is exactly the same. Sony is focusing on PS4 and Vita is getting abandoned.  

Even if vita didn't get indies games it will not have more non indies games.
