Nothing really goes on in the Borders... Why they think anyone will take the name as a serious connection is beyond me... peaceful hilly town is a far cry from the crazy video game world. Too far, I'd say, for them to be actually worried.
I don't remember anyone batting an eyelid when Rockstar named an area in a previous GTA "Leaf Links" (after Leith Links in Edinburgh), but then again Leith has more in common with GTA than Hawick does
