Doesn't have anything to do with a fanboy argument. It's common knowledge and widely accepted that PSN is slow, shitty, and was designed to be the exact opposite of user friendly and future proof. Of course all technology has hiccups. But that's like saying we shouldn't drive cars because hey, sometimes the tires go flat, or sometimes the battery dies. That's what it's like with Live or Google or Steam (I have no Apple experience). With Sony it's more like you're driving a Pinto and about to get rear ended and burned alive. Leave fanboys out of it and just call it like it is. I doubt even the biggest Sony supporters would claim Sony has designed a service that can ever come close to the other companies you listed. Then again they probably would. |
So why are people mad that Sony is charging for the service? The PS4 is set to have a great online service and you are talking about the PS3, and the current system that they have in place which is terrible. A future all digital Sony console would be great, not a PS3 digital console.
