In theory the increase in resolution give you less aliasing but that just works using the same screen size... like you said if you start to increase the screen size you wiil need to increase the resolution too to have less aliasing.
I never saw a 4k screen but I guess a 60" 4k screen showing a 4k native game will have little aliasing... so AA won't be needed.
