I was using last gen to show that even high profile developers like Carmack and Gabe can have a negative opinion but it does not mean the hardware is not up to the task. I used last gen to show that all developers are not equal, that you have some that are ahead of other companies. This doesn't really change with new hardware unless you get a lot of turnaround within those companies. You are stating the obvious on the bolded point. I am telling you without knowing the source it could be anyone. Hell, it could be the janitor who overheard a conversation for all we know. It doesn't need to be a conspiracy but then with anything you still have to take any anon source with a grain of salt. When the NDAs are over and the consoles are out, then we will be getting info from sources that do not have to hide behind anon that we can measure their capabilities to determine the validity of comments. Maybe its mean but I just do not take the word of someone just because they happen to be writing for a website. I do the same for things like the News. Just because a Jorno tells me something doesn't mean I do not vex what they say for any slant. |
Man you are so wrong. Your logic is illogical. We are talking about devs having knowledge of both machines, not coding. It doesn't matter who's coding, or their talent at coding. The fact that you keep making these arguments makes me think you are going to disagree with anything anyone says anything that doesn't make the One equal to the PS4.
Your current gen argument is still completely invalid. You shouldn't make comparisons of this gen and next. Absolutely nothing is the same as this gen. PS4 has better architecture and substantially more powerful hardware. PS4 games will always look and play better as long as the developer doesn't purposely gimp their game. PS4 by all acounts is also easier to code for. PS4 has a pretty large advantage in every area of hardware. No amount of coding and optimization will make up that gap. Nothing like the current gen. That is why any comparisons are pointless and invalid.
So you are telling me that every time you hear something on the news, or read something on a news site, you don't believe anything they say unless they out their sources? You must not believe in very much then. I can't believe you have the nerve to sit here and basically call all jurnos who use anon sources are liars who's sources are not only invalid but just some dumb schmuck that doesn't know what he's talking about. That is the definition of conspiracy. What you are doing is as bad as what you are accusing these jurnos of doing. Plus you have absolutely no proof of your crazy claims. Even when the NDA is over, a ton of sources will remain anon because they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them. You don't want to believe jurno after jurno citing devs from feb until now saying basically the same thing about PS4 being more powerful, more power to you. Just don't sit here and trivialize something just because you don't like it. No matter what argument you try to make to justify your beliefs, you are just plain wrong.
