No, it won't matter, because there are even a lot of non 1080p60fps in the PS4/X1 games. Higher resolutions limit the prettiness of graphics due to needing more power to render certain graphical effects with more pixels. Like last generation, developers will want to have more pretty visuals than securing a 60fps framerate or 1080p resolution in some cases. Resolutions for games like Battlefield 4, The Order 1886, and several others not even in full 1080p, probably due to wanting particular graphical effects, but lacking enough power for it to run in 1080p nicely (so, I guess they do care about framerate somewhat). I think Nintendo should focus on 720p60, and learn about good Anti-aliasing techniques (none of this cheap post-process stuff). SM3DW from the E3 screens do appear to show some amounts of FXAA in some spots, but nothing completely fixing.
