The problem with measuring the leap between generations is that if you say Gen 6 (GBA) to Gen 7 (PSP) was the greatest leap, you're only looking at one console in the 7th gen. If you're looking at the whole generation, you should take all consoles into account, so it would be the leap from GBA to both DS and PSP. And if you're looking at one console to the next, PSP was not the next console after the GBA. The two have nothing to do with one another. Nor does the N64 have anything to do with the PS2, nor the PS1 with the GC, and I don't know why you would compare those, either. Otherwise I would say the upcoming console generation is the greatest leap ever by far because we're going all the way from the Wii to the PS4. |
