Is “GPU Acceleration” Xbox One Secret Sauce?

I am not referring to secret sauce stuff. If all depends on what / how you want to encode. You can have a standard codec and do it all in dedicated hardware; or you can have something else (highly doubt it) and do it with available resources (GPU included).
