The only thing that usually bothers me on GTs AIs is that it always seems all against one, they don't try to win the race they try to prevent you from winning, they usually ran on trail (no mistakes but also no risks)... better AI would always be good, but not sure that by mimicking all the terrible drive styles out there will be good... their filter would need to be really good to don't spoil the end game.
