It's ok to realize Nintend left that tech race time ago. They simply won't and cannot compete with biggers companies like Sony and Ms.

Financially, for them, will be a wasting money. To make the games they want to release is more than enough. In those dark eras the portables were the ones profiting for them.

Yeah, attracting 3rd party devs and customers with more capable hardware would defintely waste them money.
