| nightsurge said: What was the point of his post? I was making a straight forward comment regarding all the talk around the internet about the PS4 being 50% powerful, not so much just Jacks comment. But since you went through such a long post just to try and argue semantics, I would argue that the word "more" in more powerful already implies scale and is an easily exaggerated term. To my other argument, the most powerful system has never "won" a generation. Meaning it was irrelevant for the most part when it came to sales. Obviously it offers other advantages, but in the entire scheme of things, it's irrelevant. |
Not much point per say, just see you often post stuff like that :P Calling people out on it tends to make them think a bit more before posting it again.
And I’m afraid "more" doesn’t count, as like I said, the word has to imply a scale that can’t be confirmed as fact. If the PS4 was even 1% stronger, it would still be a factual statement, though at that point not worth saying :P
That's generally more to do with it being the most expensive when it's the most powerful, but that isn't the case this time. The PS3 also showed the more expensive and the more powerful isn't always going to lose to its main competitor. Wii stilled kicked everyone’s asses though.
