The original XBox vs PS2 vs GC era should indeed be a good comparison sake.
Games looked better on certain systems, but they weren't leap and bounds of differences.
I enjoyed Timesplitters on the PS2 just as much as I did on the original XBox.
The way people talk on the boards think It's going to be 60fps vs 30fps for a lot of games.
Good luck with that.
