You can’t have put much thought into that sentence, seeing as he neither exaggerated anything nor can we know if it's irrelevant. You also can’t say their power difference is irreverent, as to do that you would need to know everything about both and have seen the results of each over an extended period of time. Seeing as you haven’t done either, I’m sure you can understand the flaw in that too. It’s also funny you use “generation after generation” as proof of it being irrelevant, seeing as multiple generations have had a more powerful console with a clear advantage. Anyway, that’s the end of that. Not trying to be rude, just felt like butting in since you seem to make statements like that a lot. (Sorry if there are any typos etc, it’s 4:15am so I don’t give enough shits to spell check ;P)

What was the point of his post? I was making a straight forward comment regarding all the talk around the internet about the PS4 being 50% powerful, not so much just Jacks comment.
But since you went through such a long post just to try and argue semantics, I would argue that the word "more" in more powerful already implies scale and is an easily exaggerated term.
To my other argument, the most powerful system has never "won" a generation. Meaning it was irrelevant for the most part when it came to sales. Obviously it offers other advantages, but in the entire scheme of things, it's irrelevant.
