When are you going to jump on the next gen bandwagon?

I'm just wondering,when people are going to jump on the next gen bandwagon. I'm hoping to get a new ps4 a year after launch and xboxone alittle later. I've never gotten a system at launch and I just don't have the money right now. So,how do other people transition to a new gen?
