You don't need an answer to everything, nomura always leave questions for example. I think that's a part of the experience.

Two people living different experiences by playing or not playing a game in the serie, it's something. And i think both these experiences are as valuables.

If we played from Sora's perspective, then the game wouldn't keep showing cutscenes involving other characters.  Kingdom Hearts has a far-from-limited POV.

Some questions can be left open. But never at the expense of the plot. It's been a while, but I don't seem to remember them ever explaining how they end up in the pods at the beginning of KH2. Basic questions about who characters are and why they do what they do are never answered. I can turn my brain off and just have fun playing the game, but a story shouldn't seek that outcome.
